Men chromosomes grow faster


This conclusion was made by biologists, deciphered the sequence of Y-chromosomes of Pan troglodytes and comparing it with the DNA sequence of the human Y-chromosome.

A year ago, the researchers found that the difference between human and chimpanzees genomes are 2%.

U.S. scientists say that the most rapidly evolving area is the Y-chromosome, which is responsible for the production of male gametes.
