France - the only country in the world, where UFOs have been and are still involved not only seriously, but at the state level. And each anomalous case - from the number of declassified - was not only documented, but also investigated. At least, according to the representative and head of CNES GEIPAN Jacques Patene, such attempts have been made. Conclusions officials staggering: almost a third of cases could not be explained. In other words, people saw something really supernatural.
Session unprecedented revelation
In late March, an event occurred, which was expected ufologists around the world: at the French National Center for Space Studies (CNES) had the first portion of declassified materials. Almost 30 years to collect the public service for the Study of UFOs - the so-called "Group of Information and the study of unidentified aerospace objects» (GEIPAN), in cooperation with the military, police and intelligence agencies.
- This is truly a world premiere - said Jacques Patene, the representative of CNES. - No country is yet to decided. In the U.S., for example, you can only access the archives of the UFOs. And then from time to time. We, by contrast, have provided free access for everyone who wishes to all information, which have.
The main reason which pushed CNES to publish "classified material", were accused of deliberately withholding information about UFOs.
- We demonstrate that not hiding anything - assured Jacques Patene - except for information, which affect the privacy of citizens. That is why in most of declassified documents the names of witnesses deleted.
The archives GEIPAN collected 1,600 files containing information on approximately 6 thousand episodes of UFO sightings. The volume of material is enormous: about 100 thousand pages of A4. And 28 percent of cases of this volume found inexplicable.
While experts GEIPAN laid out in the open access 400 files. But before the end of the year they expect to provide all the information. For this purpose, according to Patene, hired a special staff member who handles documents. But now the dossier became a real sensation and aroused great interest. In the first hours after the onset of CNES file servers were overloaded. Two days site of the Center was visited by more people than all of last year. And no wonder - some cases threaten to turn our ideas about the world and the universe. So another reason declassification - to draw attention to the problem of the UFO world scientific community.
The pilots are witnessing
Winter 1979, Lieutenant Colonel Jean-Pierre served as a pilot Fartek 2 Squadron of fighter aircraft in Dijon. His house stood on the very outskirts of the city: on the field and had only a small grove.
December 9 at 9.15 am Fartek and his wife saw a strange object over a field. Disk-shaped vessel diameter 20 and a thickness of 7 meters hung on a background of trees at a height of about three meters. According to the pilot and his wife, he looked like "two plates, folded edges. No windows or lights could not see - only a dull metal case. UFO hovered totally silently, sometimes swaying as if in order to maintain balance.
After some time (wife, keen sight, not looking at his watch) the object was to swing more quickly, then leaned forward and flew at low level flight into the distance, until it disappeared over the horizon. The investigation found that he had seen many neighbors of lieutenant colonel.
Although Fartek saw a UFO from earth, 6 percent of observations contained in the dossier GEIPAN, were taken from the aircraft. Here are just some of them.
March 3, 1976 Claude Bosc, cadet flying school fighter in Tours, served a night training flight. He was to fly over Rennom, Nantes, Poitiers and again landing in Tura. Same task received other cadets.
Suddenly, Claude saw that right at the rate of the horizon rolled fiery body. He thought at first that someone launched a flare, but then dropped the idea. Soaring to a height of more than 7 kilometers, the UFO began to fall, heading toward his aircraft. The blinding light flooded the cockpit. Thinking that a collision is unavoidable, Claude threw the administration, but at the last moment a UFO, just by changing the flight path, raced near the right wing.
Despite the blinding light, the cadet knew that UFOs are not very big - two feet in diameter. Behind him stretched a phosphorescent green plume. The radar did not record a UFO, but after landing, it became clear that other cadets also seen flying in the world.
7 March 1977 about 21.00 Mirage IV »back to Lyukseyl after night maneuvers. It flew at an altitude of 9600 meters. Here Herve Giraud, pilot and navigator, noticed a bright light right on board: at the same height as the UFO was moving very rapidly approaching the aircraft. Herve turned on the radio to the dispatcher military radar in Contrexeville and asked that the plane is on the interception. But on the radar screen there was nothing, and the manager hinted that they can be seen, the oxygen masks are not in order, once all bugs see caricatures ...
When a UFO flew almost straight, Herve laid the steep turns, but it did not help: the object made even more puzzling maneuver and went "Mirage" in the tail, holding at a distance of fifteen kilometers. Whether it's some-body's fighter aircraft, with Herve and his partner would not stand a chance. The pilot made another maneuver, and this time the glowing "something" behind.
While in the sky nothing more to be seen, Herve continued to feel that he was someone watching. He said the mate: "You'll see, the UFO is back". And no mistake: this is the same or UFOs again took position on the starboard side.
The file is stored and one of the most famous UFO photographs. He was made a French doctor in March 1974.
Trying to break away, the pilot has laid such a turn that my eyes almost got out on his forehead: overload maneuver reach 6,5 g! UFO easily repeated turns and again went into a tail. In the end, he easily outpaced "Mirage" and disappeared into the night sky.
Ufology calculated that the UFO performing such maneuvers was to pass the sound barrier. However, no one on earth has heard the thunder ...
Usually radars "not see" UFOs, but there were exceptions. One such case occurred on Jan. 28, 1994.
Liner A-300 Air France en route from Nice to London. On board everything went as usual, until the pilot Jean-Charles Dubos not noticed flying across the path of the object. Dubos, and two other crew members well remember the time - 13.14, when the plane was flying over the city Kul. Suddenly the UFO, which had a bell-shaped, the eyes of the pilots changed shape and turned into a dark brown egg. Hanging about a minute on a par with the plane, he vanished as suddenly as it had appeared.
Since 1983, the French airline pilots have a particular form, which they must fill in the case of observing UFOs. But in this case the crew chose to immediately contact by radio with the Center for aviation navigation in Reims. From there, the message sent Defense Operations Center, which, in turn, notified the ufologists.
The investigation revealed that military radar watched the UFO for 50 seconds. The data and the testimony of the crew allowed to calculate that the UFO had a diameter of 250 meters!
They violate the public peace
After the Second World War, when the UFOs are increasingly appearing in the skies over France, reports of mysterious phenomena in the sky studied the Air Force. Lieutenant Plante even published a "theory of UFO" in the Official Journal of the Air Force "Forses Arjen Francaise, but it remained a curious hypothesis. Since 1950, its files on UFOs and has appeared in "Dezem-bureau" - the French intelligence.
In 1954 and 1968, respectively, at the highest level, the question of establishing a formal group to study UFOs, but then the idea was not implemented. Only in 1974 it was decided to organize a collection of reports of "plates" of the population - a task entrusted to the jandarmerie.
- The National Gendarmerie shall keep order at the routes of communication, the safety of persons and property for the public peace, - explains Captain Gaston Kervandal. - When a UFO flying low over a populated point, then they violate this calmness. Similarly, if a UFO lands in a field or pasture, it can cause damage to crops or herd ... Thus, the jandarmerie can not but be interested in UFOs, engaging in activities concerning the UFO on the statement of a witness or on its own initiative.
Directorate of the Gendarmerie has given directives to all units that every UFO sighting that has become known, was the subject of serious investigation.
- How to conduct such an investigation? - Continues Kervandal. - As quickly as possible. The gendarmes are sent to the place of observation, photograph it, remove the plan, interview witnesses and others, require laboratory tests, remove the footprints that might remain, interview, special services, including whether or weather balloon launched rockets, found that whether a radar, checking, not going there at the time of observation to land a plane or a helicopter ... Such an inquiry similar to the usual result, familiar to police.
Two years later, engineer Claude Poher proposed the establishment of the National Center for Space Research UFO group, assuring that she will have the full support of the Army, Air Force, civil aviation, the gendarmerie and meteorologists. This initiative was supported by the Institute for Defense Studies.
May 1, 1977 group, which received at that time the name GEIPAN (Group for the Study of unidentified aerospace phenomena), officially began its work under the guidance of Poher.
- When we created GEIPAN, had a lot of broad smiles, - says Claude Poher. - Now they have become. As for me, I do not care so much about the views of others. If what we are told the witnesses, it is true, then it is very serious ...
Study of 678 reports of UFOs for 1977 - 1978, showed: 38 percent of them can not explain. It was recorded 11 UFO landing - only one was acceptable, "earthly" explanation. The remaining ten look just supernaturally. Researchers concluded that people actually see some physical phenomena - most likely, the aircraft, the principle of movement is unknown.
Double-witnesses saw a humanoid with a distance of less than 250 meters.
Here's Alien's
August 29, 1967, two children from Kyussaka - 13-year-old boy Francois Delpe and his 9-year-old sister - were tending cows. Suddenly they noticed on the other side of the road that runs next to the field, four small creatures - the humanoid growth of about three feet, dressed in black overalls. Not far from them stood a huge ball, half hidden by a fence. It sparkled so, that was painful to watch.
One of the creatures now and then bending as if picking something and the other was holding an object that reflects the rays of the sun (Francois compared it with a mirror). Humanoid shook his hand, apparently giving signs to his companions.
Being seen that they noticed, and agitated. One of them vertically soared into the air and dived headfirst into a ball, as if through a hatch on top. Although the children seemed that it went straight through his body. Two humanoid followed him. The fourth creature took off, then dived to the ground to pick up something, and once again soared. At this point, the ball began to take off, and the fourth passenger ducked inside, where a UFO was already high above the ground.
The ball went up the spiral, then brightly lit and flew away. And the wind brought down to the children a strong smell of sulfur. The scared cows, low, crowded next to guys. Those in tears, rushed home. But do not cry from fear, but because of some effect: the children's eyes watered a few days. The father appealed to the police. Gendarmes arrived on the scene, too, felt the smell of sulfur. And where there was a ball, found clear imprints of poles and dried grass.
In 1978 have been re-investigated. Scientists have not only been questioned once again grown children, their relatives, doctors and police, but also found witnesses who heard strange noises, saw a UFO flying. According to experts, residents Kyussaka really came across a mysterious ship.
"Plate" was a genuine
At the disposal of scientists have a complex computer technology, which allows a thorough analysis of UFO photographs. It turned out that among the mass of images accumulated over years of observation, there are real photos disciform ships!
July 18, 1952 geologist André Fresnel made a series of photographs UFO near Lake Shove, but then almost no one believed him.
- It was around 18.00, when I saw a UFO - said Fresnel. - Not knowing its diameter, I can not say at what altitude it was flying. Apparently, he was at a height of three to eight kilometers ...
I managed to quickly capture the four frames. A picture, I started looking at the ship with binoculars - watched about a minute. Based on my observations and calculations, if he was at an altitude of three kilometers, flying at a speed of about 300 meters per second. If he was at an altitude of 8 kilometers, its speed was greater and could reach 800 m / sec. No sound I have not heard.
The ship had a shape oval. Below, the center seems to have been a bright bulge, but I'm not sure ... I suppose that over it very quickly rotate the rotor, or some sort of gyroscopic system, which may explain the highlight imprinted on the images.
Examination, conducted by scientists, brushed off all suspicion. But many shots that were deemed authentic, such verification is not passed. It revealed a large number of fakes using mock-ups, tricks shootings and the like, and this was discovered, even on older, "classic" Photographs UFO. There were simple mistakes: people are taken for a UFO and shot bright celestial bodies, natural phenomena, birds, artificial satellites, balloons, rockets and more.
Landing in Trans-en-Provence
In 1979, the government headed by a young scientist ufologists Allen Easterly, which increased the number of permanent members of the group to ten.
- Our experts will study the information about the unknown phenomena in terms of the laws of physics, trying to bring some regularity, considering the most unexpected assumptions associated with such interest to us phenomena as the possibility of "standing" facilities in the air, without energy or the possible causes outage light in the motor vehicles in UFO sightings - he told me in an interview. - We are thinking about what is possible and what is not, on the basis of our current knowledge.
That Allen Easterly directed study UFO landing on Jan. 8, 1981 in the village of Trans-en-Provence in southeastern France. And he came to the conclusion: this case can not be explained by anything other than the impact of a certain unknown science of radiation from the board of the unknown aircraft.
The main witness was 55-year-old Renato Nicolai: It was on his farm landed UFO. The story of the farmer was recorded by the gendarmes at the scene: "My attention was attracted by the sound of slack, something like a low whistle. I turned and saw the object, which was approximately at a height of pine at the border area. He is not spinning, declining ...
During the landing, he began to publish another whistle, constant and monotonous, and then rose up and, once at a height of treetops, quickly flew to the north-east. When the machine started to take off, I noticed in the bottom of his four holes, from which, however, he did not smoke or flames. He raised some dust, when glued to the ground.
At this point I was about 30 meters. Then I went and saw the next round with a diameter about two meters. In several places along the circumference were some marks or fingerprints.
The device looked like two plates put together the bottoms out. He was about 1.5 meters tall, lead color. In his place in the circle junction was something like connecting strip. Here, when the object took off, I saw the round protrusions, probably landing aids or support. There I saw two circles, which looked like the outline of the hatches. Two pillars - or two seating units - were at 20 centimeters from the body.
Samples of soil and vegetation were transferred to University of Toulouse, University of Metz, the National Institute of Agronomic Research and other institutions. Researchers found that the soil was subjected to strong pressure and a marked temperature effects, and plants - biochemical changes, and they were greater, the plants were located closer to the center of the next landing. In the leaves of alfalfa collapsed 30 - 50 percent of chlorophyll. Experts have suggested that here we could go with an unknown energy field and that the study should be fully confirms the eyewitness account.
- Facility to sit down, flying almost back to back to the six-foot wall, with one point of the trajectory of the distance between the wall and the shell does not exceed 20 centimeters, - said one of the scientists. - To operate as an object about 2.8 meters in diameter, with a large mass and flying at high speed, it simply takes an amazing airman-ship. I think that the UFO came to us from outer space ...
Mini UFO in Nancy
In this case, a UFO in broad daylight, witnessed an outstanding biologist, who wished to remain anonymous. On the same day his story was recorded by the gendarmes and handed over to ufologists.
October 21, 1982 biologist went into the garden. At 12.35 he saw a UFO, which flew up to the house from the south-east. The trajectory of its flight was such that it seemed that the UFO was about to sit on his head. But this did not happen: oval object hovering a meter above the ground and remained in that position for quite some time.
During this time, the biologist had good look at an object, which was 80 centimeters thick and not more than three feet in diameter. Its lower half looked as if made of polished metal, and the top - like a blue-green opaque glass.
About twenty minutes later the UFO flew straight up and disappeared from sight, "as if it were sucked into the sky." At this moment, all the plants under the apparatus stood on end, and then subsided again. The tips of the plants have dried, as if under the influence of strong electric field.
RECOGNITION EXPERT
Jean-Jacques VELASCO: The idea of extraterrestrial origin is quite evident
Sensational investigation Alain Easterly caused dissatisfaction on the part of scientists-conservatives who were leading the Center for Space Research. His group "squeezed" in the most sensitive spot - cut funding. In 1983, Easterly moved to another position in the CNES, and the group headed by his deputy, Jean-Jacques Velasco. More precisely, what is left of the group: first at the disposal of Velasco were only assistant and secretary, and then did not become them as well.
In 1988 the group was disbanded. Instead, she organized a group SEPRA (Service examination of phenomena within the atmosphere), led by Velasco, but with a different composition. In addition to studying UFOs, UFO mandated tracking satellites and their parts, burning in the atmosphere.
All this is not deterred by Jean-Jacques Velasco of the amazing statements about the dishes. Even in the last century, he can say, officially admitted that UFOs not only exist, but are likely to have extraterrestrial origins.
"In the airspace of France, flying objects, attempts to escape the civil and military authorities to control them, which use the technology, superior of the earth, - he argued. - Since the mind is greater than our mind, he is able to secure elusiveness ... The thought of his extraterrestrial origin is quite evident.
Since 2000 SEPRA again started to deal exclusively with UFOs. In 2005 it was renamed GEIPAN (Group on Information and the study of unidentified aerospace objects), and it was headed by Jacques Patene. Supervises the activities of the group Scientist group Council, headed by the former Director General of CNES Yves Sillardom. It is composed of 15 representatives from the Gendarmerie, Army, Air Force, the Civil Aviation Authority and other agencies.
According to Jacques Patene, group GEIPAN receives about a hundred messages a year and investigates the most interesting of them. "In 99% of cases, witnesses are absolutely sincere - he added. - They definitely saw something. "
