Kodak and Samsung stopped patent trial


Corporation Kodak and Samsung were able to resolve the protracted conflict, associated with violations of several of its patents.

American manufacturer of photo equipment Eastman Kodak and the South Korean electronics maker Samsung Electronics ceased patent trial, begun in 2008. Corporations have been able to agree on a joint licensing of their technologies.

Kodak. Signing of agreement on the joint use of patents follows the judicial decision of the Commission on International Trade in the U.S. (US International Trade Commission) - in December 2009, ITC has confirmed that Samsung had violated two patents owned by Kodak. Writes Reuters, the South Korean company will pay Kodak for the benefit of monetary compensation, the amount of which has not been announced.
